We are sooo unhappy to tell you this: our most favorite FOH engineer in the world, Ken “Pooch” van Druten won’t work with Linkin Park anymore. He has moved on to work with other artists. As most people, there just comes a time when you gotta move on and do something different. We can totally feel him. Pooch wasn’t only a fan favorite amongst the Linkin Park live crew but he is also renowned in the music industry, as the guys from LPLive have summarized:
“He has mixed everyone from Linkin Park to Guns N’ Roses, Smashing Pumpkins, Slash, System Of A Down, Rob Zombie, Limp Bizkit, Jane’s Addiction, Eminem, Justin Bieber, and more. …Pooch is well-renowned in the live music industry. He has been apart of three Grammy nominations and has won the Top Dog FOH Engineer of the Year award six times and the Parnelli FOH Engineer of the Year award twice, which reflects quite well on his status in the industry. To us, he’s one of the best in the world and that’s hard to dispute.”
We are very sad to see him leave but we wish him all the best in his career! As a little farewell gift, we want to share some of the stuff we posted about him these past few years, so make sure to watch our Twitter @lpfancorner. Also, he is so awesome that we even allowed him to be interviewed by us and write a guest blog about Sunset Strip Music Festival. Yep, THAT awesome, cause you know how picky we are!
Thank you, Pooch for bringing us the best sound. You didn’t only turn some switches – you provided us with the soundtrack to our greatest Linkin Park memories. You will be missed!

What does an FOH Engineer do? What is FOH?
Chris Morgan says:
Front of house. He is the magician that makes sure the sound of each instrument can be heard properly no matter what corner of the venue you are standing in
