To define Linkin Park as a mere rock band just doesn’t cut it. They have always been more than just musicians and we, the fans, have always profited from that. Not only did they introduce many of us to contemporary art, but they have also tried out the newest innovations of the music market together with their fanbase.
Remember how much fun it was to connect our Facebook accounts with the LOST IN THE ECHO video? Or getting the PlugAir, a brand new technology, in our LPU package? Of course it always takes some time and working through bugs to improve those innovations, but to quote Emerson: “life is a journey, not a destintion”.
Another huge aspect of Linkin Park is their social impact. With Music for Relief they are constantly supporting important relief efforts all over the world.
On LPFC, we want to mirror this “multidimensionalism” by bringing you more than just information about the band. News, reports, reviews, etc. are all very common categories of a fansite, but in the future you will find much more on LPFC.
We are launching two new categories:
“Social Good” will introduce relief organizations and start ups with a social component. Every day we stumble upon new ways to help, may that be by donating, sharing or new innovative ways of engagement.
“Innovations in Music” will portray the “newest shit” of the music business. A new way to release music, wicked sound formats, crazy marketing campaigns, interesting apps, etc.
We hope you will enjoy the new approach of LPFC. Feel free to send us suggestions for both categories to info@lpfancorner.com
