Mike Shinoda's Unannounced LPU Chat Recap

This morning (German time), Mike popped into the LPU chat after retweeting one of LPUer Colin’s many tweets with the chat link. Thanks Colin, you made it!
During the chat, I had to get ready for work and catch my train on time, so I carried my laptop around while I showered, got dressed and put make up on. That’s why this recap is a little jumbled. Unfortunately, I didn’t catch everything, but I made a few notes.

– Some songs are not made for live shows, like Skin to bone and Robot boy. They have too much keyboard and samples, so there must be 6 Mikes playing the track, while the others have nothing to do
– They are not working on Transformers OST
– He won’t comment on new music, since he can’t look into the future
– He thanked everyone for the anniversary tweets
– He wanted to watch “Under the Dome” and asked how it was. I told him about the scene when the dome drops down and a cow is sliced in half. He said that’s cool.
– He loves Jensen Karp
– He was joking a lot, commnted on peoples shirts, a fan’s red hair, their toys (some people were video chatting)
– He asked for Colin and told us to hit him up via mail
– His friends got him McDonald’s Transformers from a Happy Meal
– Rehearsing for the upcoming shows didn’t start yet
– He’d love to play I’ll be Gone, but doesn’t know if it will work out
– There probably will be similar sets for Asia and SSMF
– He just did some press for Asian media
– He recently talked to Rick Rubin about the new Jay-Z record. Rubin isn’t producing it, but counseling Jay.
– He commented on the new Nine Inch Nail track. He thinks it’s okay, but he’s looking forward to more. It doesn’t seem to be his favorite. He said, he doesn’t like how singer guy sings “Haw-Haw-Haunted” XD.
– After some time I had to log out and switch to my phone, because I had to go to work. I had some login problems, so I only catched a glimpse of Mike dissing the name “Melissa” (my real name). I thought he just randomly talked about the name, but my friend Natasha told me that he was talking about me! While I was logged out. He thought, I wouldn’t find out, I bet. Well, my spies (Natasha) got me some screenshots!
