What’s the official name of your position?
I joined the LPU HQ in July 2013 as a Marketing Assistant / Office Manager, as of September 1st I began working as a Project Coordinator. But I don’t like to use titles to be honest, there is so much more to any job or position.
Can you give us some insight into your daily work?
I could probably come up with a daily task list but definitely not a routine. For example as I write this I have 23 unread e-mails on top of other opened ones I am working on. We just announced the Vegas show and the Vegas meetup so those things kept me busy these last few days. In sum, a day here starts with checking emails and tackling other tasks as the day progresses. My favorite daily stop is LPU and Twitter, I truly enjoy talking to you guys-
How long have you been a part of the Linkin Park Team and how did you get there?
Today is 12/3/13, in 5 days it will be 5 months since my start date. In the fall of 2011 Adam gave me a chance to come work with him as an intern for 6 months. It is one of the most rewarding experiences I ever had. In June 2013, I graduated college and when Adam moved on to work at WBR, I was given the opportunity to interview for a new job at LPU.
What is your greatest memory since working for Linkin Park? What’s the worst one?
One of the best memories is getting to hang out with some of the fans in Hong Kong, that was really cool of them to show me around town. Worst memory is when the airline lost my luggage in Japan. Thankfully there were plenty of LP shirts to wear.
If you have anything to say to the Linkin Park fans, go ahead!
Thank You. Words can’t express my gratitude to all the LP fans for welcoming me into their community. I feel super lucky to be here and I look forward to the road ahead. Big shout out to Adam for showing me the way and being not just a mentor, but a friend.
