A news post on linkinpark.com informs us that the band will be headlining a new event called the mtvU Fandom Awards. The event will take place at San Diego Comic-Con International on July 24. Furthermore, Linkin Park will also be playing an event called MTV Fan Fest, which takes place at at the 2014 Comic-Con convention also.
There will be free admission to MTV Fan Fest for all Comic-Con badge holders and on July 27 and beginning June 17th, fans can enter MTV’s Ultimate Fan Experience at LinkinPark.MTV.com for the chance to win a once in a lifetime VIP trip for two tickets to fly to San Diego and attend the mtvU Fandom Awards, meet the band and have VIP access to watch the band perform. In addition, the winner will receive VIP tickets to a Carnivores Tour date nearest their hometown along with various gear signed by the band shipped directly to their home.
After the mtvU Fandom Awards, on July 27, MTV and mtvU will be airing the shows best moments from the bands performance at 8pm EST/PST.
