Linkin Park took some time in Las Vegas back in May to join Jon Schnepp in comic book shopping and talking about the album. In the second episode for Comic Book Shopping, Mr. Hahn hits the comic books store Torpedo Comics while Mike and Brad sit down with Schnepp.
In regards to One More Light, Hahn describes it as the album to represent who they are at present, ‘as the forty year old version of us.’ Mike sees One More Light as the first album to allow him as a parent, brother, and brother to his bandmates to manifest itself, an album that Brad considers to be truthful whether it appeals to fan or not- and that matters the most to them.
The episode is a nice look into Hahn’s early memories since elementary school, how Mike wants more female superheroes, how simple, ‘low tech’ effects sometimes brings out the most soul to something in Brad’s eyes.
