The Distortion of Sound featuring Mike Shinoda, Hans Zimmer, Quincy Jones and many more is now available to watch in full on the official website. The documentary produced by Harman delves into how virtually all music we listen to is compressed and degraded by the time it leaves the artists’ studio and reaches their fans.
As Shinoda wrote on his Instagram shot of the premiere, “the music we’re listening to is actually like [a] low quality photo, with information missing and details disfigured.”
Mike also talks about how how we experience the music, mentioning the listening parties with fans worldwide.
