Mike Shinoda: “This one is gonna be just me”
Mike Shinoda stopped by the New @ 2 with Yesi Ortiz and DJ Reflex on Power 106 Los Angeles to premiere the new Fort Minor track, ‘Welcome’.

He talked about the early days of Fort Minor and why he felt the need to form a new band for this special type of sound back then. He also talked about why “Welcome” was released as a Fort Minor track now, after Fort Minor has been on hiatus for all those years. He then explained why the video for the track was premiered on the tech site “Mashable” and why they shot it in Venice.
