Linkin Park have decided to part ways with The Collective, a management firm with clients including Stone Temple Pilots with Chester Bennington and most recently, Beta State, followed by the firm’s decision to shut down its music management division launched back in 2005.
Having been their biggest client, Linkin Park wish The Collective all the best, Shinoda explaining “we’ve decided to bring our management duties in house, to directly hire talent to support the innovative ideas the band plans to pursue in the coming years.”
As The Collective focuses entirely on its film and television management, the question arising now is if other major artists will also choose self-management coming into 2015.
