Lauren Dair was the Grand Prize winner of the 2017 Stagelight Monthly Music Contest II, which means she was chosen to work with Linkin Park on a new song.
Crazy to think this whole journey with @LinkinPark started one year ago.

Back in February, Brad Delson and Mike Shinoda met her at Red Bull Studios in LA to collaborate on her new single, Every Little Light. According to an interview with Original Rock, she had actually started working on it a few months back, and Chester Bennington was one of her inspirations to the track:
I actually started writing the song the day after Chester died. Everything kind of just came up out of nowhere and I wrote it in frenzy. The song was done within an hour or so. I didn’t intend for the song to be influenced by him but after I finished writing it, I realized that there was a lot of his legacy sprinkled throughout the song.
