On June 19 at 10am PST we will celebrate the great new Linkin Park album The Hunting Party with a worldwide listening party as we’ve already reported here. In case you got no idea what this is all about: press play at 10am and share your thoughts about the songs on Facebook, Twitter and the LPU chat.
Here are more details about the different channels.
– Facebook: We have a special event page for the listening party here. We will post one status for each song and you can discuss the song in the comment section.
– Twitter: We will tweet with you from our Twitter handle @lpfancorner. In addition Mike Shinoda will join us from his Twitter @mikeshinoda. Use the hashtag #TheHuntingParty in your tweets.
– LPU chat: A few of us will be in the LPU chat during the listening party (so far Adie and Jack are confirmed). Mike Shinoda also plans to pop in. You will notice when it happens.
As you can see, the listening party is now an official event:
