To be perfectly honest, I have no idea if this is actually new information, but since it’s new for me, it might be for others, too.
According to this article, Garbage will also play a show for MTV World Stage Monterrey-Mexico. The article also mentions some details about Linkin Park’s show:
“Garbage, the international alternative rock band with more than 17 million records sold, returns to Mexico after seven years to perform live at MTV World Stage Monterrey – Mexico. Thus, Garbage will share the same stage with the previously announced global rock icons, Linkin Park. This international music event will be taped entirely in high definition at Arena Monterrey in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico on September 12th and will be broadcasted throughout the region by MTV Latin America; Linkin Park’s MTV World Stage will be broadcasted on October 5th and Garbage’s MTV World Stage on October 12th. The event will also be seen on more than 63 MTVs around the world, exact dates to be confirmed.
