Linkin Park and Netflix just announced that the streaming network will adapt the band’s journey to the top of international rock music into a drama series. The first season will be available in early 2017 and will most probably feature the early years of the band members before Linkin Park was founded.
“Linkin Park’s story is incredibly dramatic. Not only did they have to fight for their freedom of expression as a band, but also the band members individually had to go through hell to get to the place they are now. This is Rock music’s “Straight Outta Compton”!”, said Reed Hastings during a recent press conference.
The network has cast Dylan O’Brien as Mike Shinoda, Tom Holland as Chester Bennington, Channing Tatum as Dave “Phoenix” Farrell, Adam Driver as Rob Bourdon, Steven Yeung as Joe Hahn and Jim Parsons as Brad Delson. Linkin Park refused to release a statement regarding the story: “The guys are still too emotional about finally getting the chance to tell their unique story to a broader audience.”, their agent commented this morning.

I think Justin Long would be the greatest choice for Mike’s character, I mean there’s something about him that reminds me of Mike… God, how I wish this was true! Joe is a director, Mike and Brad are producers, and Chester has been part of two films, plus, they know how to act and perform when they shoot for music videos. Anyways, yeah, too good to be true :/
