Fittingly, Linkin Park have won Best Live Act of 2014 and Best Rock Band of 2014 in the 4th Annual Loudwire Music Awards, in time to headline the first annual Loudwire Music Festival.
Linkin Park are headliners for the three-day music gathering set for June 26-28 at Jam Ranch outside Grand Junction, Colorado, with Rob Zombie, A Day to Remember, Weezer, Halestorm and Hinder just announced.
Linkin Park had six nominations for the Loudwire Music Awards: Best Rock Album with The Hunting Party, Best Rock Song with “Rebellion”, Best Vocalist with Chester, Best Guitarist with Brad, Best Live Act and Most Devoted Fans.
Linkin Park missed Best Rock Album of 2014 to Islander’s Violence & Destruction only 19.69% to 19.98% and Best Rock Song of 2014 to Three Days Grace’s “Painkiller” 21.04% to 22.52%.
Narrowly missing those, Linkin Park conquered Best Live Act of 2014 28.70% to 22.37% for Slipknot and Best Rock Band of 2014 31.24% to 21.81% for Avenged Sevenfold.
You can catch Linkin Park conquering Rock on the Range in May with Slipknot, fellow winners in five categories, May 15-17. Make sure to check where else you can experience the Best Live Act and Rock Band this festival run coming up HERE.
