Since April 9th LP fans from all around the world were asked to create a design inspired by CASTLE OF GLASS.
Now it’s past deadline and voting begins May 21st, 10am PST ( 6pm GMT ) sharp!

The winning submission, which will be chosen by Linkin Park on June 4th, will be sold as official tour merchandise! Exciting!

We, the LPUers, have decided to schedule a weekly meet up in the LPU chat on Sundays at 8pm German time.
This means, that if you’re only occasionally in the LPU chat like many members, you can be sure that on Sundays the chat is actually full, so it’s worth to stop by.
If you like to chat and meet other LP fans, don’t be shy. Join the meet up if you can!
I know that many LPU members just stop by the chat when there’s a band chat scheduled, but this meet up is only once a week.
Remember that you pay to be a part of a great community. This is an awesome opportunity to meet many cool people and maybe make it your weekly Sunday evening date.

It was just announced that Linkin Park will be headlining the Sunset Strip Music Festival in LA on August 3.
The show comes with some cool extras for LPU members! As always, they will be able to buy pre-sale tickets starting at noon, but for the first time, there will be an exclusive section up front at the show just for LPU members.

This will be definitely Linkin Park’s only performance in the US for the rest of 2013!

Pre-sale tix will be available at LPUnderground.com at noon, May 14. Public tix go on sale Wednesday, May 17 at 10am.

Chester Bennington is the new lead singer of Stone Temple Pilots! Chester joined the band at KROQ’s Weenie Roast on stage, yesterday, but that’s not all that happened. They have also released a new track, you can download exclusively on radio.com.

In an interview with KROQ STP guitarist Dean DeLeo said:

Chester has a one-of-a-kind voice that we’ve admired for a long time. We know LINKIN PARK will always be his priority, but we thought it would be cool to try something together. We managed to find the time to record a song and we’re all really happy with the result.

Chester himself told KROQ:

I’ve loved STP since I was 13 years old and they’ve had a huge influence on me. When the opportunity came up to do something creative with them, I jumped at the chance. The guys in Linkin Park have been incredibly supportive of me undertaking this project while I’ve continued to work on new music with LP.
